We took some time off!

I'm not 100% why, we just needed it. We needed to take care of some other things in our life, but we start back up tonight.

And we signed up for our team yesterday.

Vicious & Delicious... It's great and a perfect name to describe the men and women that make up our team. :) Still very excited to get moving!

Day 8

We have officially started Week 2!!!! WOOT! That means we made it all the way through week 1 without quitting! So happy to be able to say we are still going strong.

We are both noticing a major difference if it's not making it further through the workout, being able to push more, or getting more reps of whatever that specific exercise is, it's there and we are pleased with our progress. We both are feeling more energetic as we get healthier and overall just better!

Shaun even got his first complement today, being told by one of his clients that he was already looking better! I guess that's awesome since she only see's him every 6 months.

Can't believe we are really doing this! 3 More weeks and we'll have a team started for Tough Mudder!

Day 7 - Plyometerics

Well, they suck! Day 2 was the same and it was terrible also! It's definitely one of the toughest days.

It's getting easier though, we are making it through the warm-up without stopping now so that's a major improvement!!!

Day 6

We took our break tonight instead of tomorrow, Easter Church, Egg Hunts and Lunch will take up Sunday and its best we feel good.

Tomorrow we begin again!

Day 5

Well today we threw in the Pure Cardio DVD and well... It wouldn't work.. We could of stopped, given up for the night.. But that's not happening here. So we decided to do the fit test again. We can say some was easier, some not so much.

We pushed through it though and kept going after doing the full workout of Day 5 before it quit working on us. So tomorrow we'll start back up on schedule and hopefully have a better Pure Cardio workout next week.

Day 4. Cardio Recovery

Cardio Recovery, we aren't sure what that was supposed to mean but it's a lot like Pilates and Yoga all mixed into one. A leg workout mostly, so it's a day off of jumping around like crazy people.

It feels like it's going by a little faster, either we are getting stronger or the recovery drink is actually working. The recovery drink we started during yesterday's workout and felt great today, so hoping for a similar situation tomorrow.

Still going strong and working hard even at 11 at night. Determined to make it!

Day 3. Take 2

So we have the schedule now and will be following it. :) We ended up only did day 3 over again. And we kicked it's ass! And we will be back for more tomorrow!

We picked up some recovery/workout drink to help keep us going. Have to let you know tomorrow if we think it's working or not. :)

And now we relax, take in the fact that we are one step closer to our goal, finish our drinks and then crash.

Day 3.. Major Fail

Well we learned a valuable lesson tonight.. DO NOT EAT within an hour or so of this training. You will only make it half way through before suddenly feeling like throwing up everywhere. :(

So tomorrow's goal.. Power through the second half of Day 3 and Day 4. Now we take advantage of only doing half of the workout and get some much needed extra sleep and rest.

So we are sore but feel good. One benefit we are learning to this program, it's so different but the same everyday. So while you are working out similar areas, it's mostly different muscles helping with that sore feeling you get with repetition.

Well Day 2 is actually better!

I guess the title says it all...
Day 1 = Hell!
Day 2 = More energy after!

So today we took major steps in getting ready. We bought our new shoes & gear! Speaking of shoes, they are very important for this training program. It's not one you can do without them. My feet feel so much better than they did yesterday.

We are going to make it! It's 12:30am and we just finished, that's commitment in my opinion!

So overall we both feel better, our bodies are tired, but not deathly so and mentally I think after completing it we are really ready to go.

We feel ready for Day 3, a new challenge and some more strength and change within ourselves!

Well... We have Decided! Day 1

It's official we have DECIDED to start training.

Day 1 of Insanity.. Is well just that insane... And for some reason Shaun thought we should watch ahead. Just in case anyone wants to know... Major fail! Do not watch ahead on something that kicked your butt on day 1. It's not motivating what so ever!

So what have we decided to do.. Begin our Insanity training. Our ultimate goal. Complete the 10 to 12 mile obstacle course in under 4 hours called Tough Mudder! Yes we are crazy and we are definitely going to make it.

September will be here before we know it and we will be in the best shape ever! Or at least that is what we are going for!
